Overall experience was very good and I'll definitely go again

The room was spacious and clean. We loved it. The landscape is so nice. The pool was clean and heated.

The beach is a bit far from the rooms with no shuttle service. There wasn't enough variety of food in the dinner buffet.

everything was good, the hotel is quite on a huge area so to get to the beach you have to walk for 10 minutes, but there were available golf cars. the food was in a good quality, not a lot of variety. the beach was fantastic. the service is good, but many facilities, like the pool heating, the kids area, other restaurants were closed, were closed/not maintained properly.

the heating in the pools was turned off! it was totally inconvenient. the kids area is poor, the kids aqua was working but the water was freezing because the heating is turned off.

Excellent customer service, everyone was so polite and cheerful, each service was provided with a smile. Wherever we go staff members always checking that everything is good (at the restaurant, beach, lobby…etc).

worse than expected I preferred the chalets than the hotel

Staff were very helpful and hospitable ,animation team was nice and friendly the pools are very clean

the food was really bad in dinner no choices in the set menu and poor quality , presence of lots of flies in the room after cleaning also the WiFi was bad

A hotel that you will enjoy!

Friendly staff, Sandy beach, rich varity at the breakfast and dinner buffet. Clean rooms with very good quality and near area with few nice cafe, restaurants and supermarket

At night time there was very annoying noise of doors being closed in very loud way. Very small balcony with no proper sea view. No heated pool

Swimming pools , cleanness, quietness, staff so polite always smiling and helpful

Pool heater was not working, no meal variaties, no phone or Internet available so you use your cellphone to call for any services

Nice short stay but much over-rated.

1. The heated pool which was a great surprise for us along with the kids water pedals. 2. The chef was excellent. I've never tasted fried & grilled fish that tasty. He also made a special pizza as a compliment to our child which was a very nice gesture. 3. The staff is very friendly & helpful. 4. The Deluxe Double room overlooking the pool. 5. The shops near the hotel (restaurant, cafe, supermarket).

1. Low value for money. The room rate should have been much cheaper. 2. Very poor facilities. No pool bar. Beach restaurant & bar is very poor. Some facilities are still under construction. Beach Jacuzzi is not working. 3. Finishing level of Chalet rooms is much lower than standard & deluxe rooms in the main hotel building. Also, they are located very far from the heated pool & the main restaurant.

I really enjoyed the service & place.

The staff r professional & friendly. The chalet exceeded our expectations it’s even much better than the pictures. Also, there are different pools and the big one is really large.

It’s really good actually. But the building was not 100% accessible for a wheelchair.

What was the highlight of Grand Ocean El Sokhna

A very nice family friendly hotel

We booked a "Chalet" which turned out to be a fantastic appartment with a great view to the Red Sea. The appartment was very spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge/diner and kitchen. The beach was very well maintained with good bar service. The hotel has lots of swimming pools so that wherever you go, it is never busy. Just outside the hotel is a small mall with supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants. The big swimming pool in front of the hotel is heated in winter time. Food was nice, but restricted to mainly Egyptian cuisine. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel does not serve any alcohol. It would have been nice to have on the terrace a cocktail or something like that. Our kids enjoyed their time at the sea, but some sort of water park would have been useful. We were told that the hotel also has a sauna but we couldn't find it. Better signs would be helpful.
